Hi there, I’m Kate! Originally from Colorado, I’ve recently made the move to San Francisco. I graduated from Scripps College in 2014 as an English major and have been working as an editor, writer, and content manager ever since. I have a passion for language, words, and communication as a whole, plus an abiding interest in the power of myth (just ask my thesis!).

I have years of experience managing remote teams while editing and publishing content in the coffee and pet niches. I’m also an obsessively detail-oriented and creative editor who always takes care to let the writer’s voice shine through. As a writer, I am deadline-oriented, organized, and concise.

Looking for a little more insight? I’m the kind of person who compulsively proofreads articles in the New York Times and mentally copy edits every book I read. At any given time, I’m usually reading 3-4 books (a habit that has spawned my latest project, TBA) from a wide range of genres, just to keep things interesting. I’m also working on building my first crossword puzzle.

Oh! And I have an adorable (occasionally grumpy) dog…
